COVID-19 Update from Wells Sampson
Dear customers,
Effective today, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered non-essential businesses in the state to close for two weeks to help slow the spread of COVID-19. I am writing to let you know that American Alarm is exempt from that order because of our essential mission providing your security and life-safety systems support.
There is no doubt that the Governor’s actions underscore the severity of the crisis at hand. It also reminds us that we have an essential role to play in helping our customers stay safe in these difficult days, including many thousands of families and all of the “essential” businesses and organizations that must also continue to operate.
In response to this crisis, we have distributed our team, with many now working from home. Our 24-7 security monitoring center remains fully operational and we have redundant remote monitoring capabilities in place if needed.
We will continue operating to serve you, while simultaneously doing everything we can to protect our employees. We have to stay strong, to be ready to help you.
Our field technicians and electricians have the personal protective equipment they need and are vigilant about following public health protocols. They are available for essential service calls, inspections or installations that you may need.
We hope that you and your loved-ones are safe and secure.
Sincerely,
Wells Sampson
President
