To help prevent possible injury, the parents required a home security feature that would notify them in the event that their child opened a door or window. American Alarm staff notified the parents of a chime feature available in their home security system. Per the specified programming, each time a window or exterior door is opened the chime will sound. This feature allows the alarm system to alert the parents of a wandering child or an unwanted intruder even when the home security system is unarmed.
