We are the team at American Alarm & Communications, which is based in Arlington, Massachusetts, and has regional offices in Auburn and Randolph, Mass. and Windham, N.H. American Alarm is a family-owned company founded in 1971 by three engineers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) who saw the need to apply new technology and systems to help protect families, homes and businesses.

Over the course of 40-plus years, we have grown to become New England’s largest independent security systems integration and monitoring company. Our security systems protect all classes of property, from single-family homes to multi-site banks and retail operations, to major museums, hospitals, public and historic venues. Our Randolph, Mass. office is home to our enterprise life-safety systems division called Advanced Signal Corp., which is an authorized Engineered Systems Distributor for Notifier by Honeywell.
