Based in New England since 1971, we’ve worked in the Carlisle area for decades. We know the landscape and we have good relationships with local police and fire officials. Our team of employees (200 strong and growing) live in the communities we serve, this means our customers are our neighbors.
Carlisle was originally settled as part of Concord in 1651. At the time of settlement, Concord was known for being an extremely rural part of the town. After a twenty-five year long debate over the town breaking off from Concord, the split was granted in 1805 and was incorporated later that year.
Carlisle is best known for being a rural and affluent town supported by excellent school systems. After being settled in 1651, Carlisle has seen moderate growth at best. Carlisle does its best to preserve the natural environment; it was once described by the great philosopher Henry David Thoreau as a “City in the Woods.”
Carlisle stays true to this statement to this day, as it has almost no commercial buildings. Not only does Carlisle have thirty percent of its total land protected as conservation land, it has no traffic lights, no shopping plazas and no major housing complexes. Carlisle’s commitment to preservation and quality education make it a unique and extremely enjoyable place to live.
Due to the lack of infrastructure in the town, Carlisle doesn’t have the many recreational sites that other surrounding towns have. It does however have a plethora of conservation land and outdoor recreation, the most popular site is the Great Brook Farm State Park. There are over twenty miles of trails that are frequented by bikers, runners, hikers, horseback riders and cross-country skiers. Also located in the park is a farm which has animals ranging from cows to sheep to rabbits. On the farm site there is a ice cream stand, which makes its ice cream on-site from the cows on the farm, making this a popular location year round. Also located in Carlisle is a cranberry bog, that consists of over 151 acres, forty of which is used for the cultivation of cranberries.

Fire Breaks Out In Home Theater Of A New House
A fully integrated home security system, with burglar, fire and environmental hazard detection is the most comprehensive approach for protecting your home. One never knows where or when a threat will surface, even in a new high-quality home, so covering all the bases is appropriate.
One of our customers in Carlisle recently learned that lesson first-hand when fire broke out in their relatively new home. The fire started in the home theater, mostly likely sparked by an electrical problem. During construction American Alarm had installed a comprehensive home security system which detected the fire and immediately sounded an alarm in the house and at our 24-hour Security Command Center. Within seconds the Carlisle fire department was on the way. They knocked down the fire, containing damage to the home theater area.
