Based in New England since 1971, we’ve worked in the Foxborough area for decades. We know the landscape and we have good relationships with local police and fire officials. Our team of employees (200 strong and growing) live in the communities we serve, this means our customers are our neighbors.
The land that now makes up Foxborough was purchased from Metacom or King Philip in 1666, although it wasn’t settled until 1704. In 1778, Foxborough was incorporated and named after Charles James Fox who was a member of English Parliament.
After settling in 1704, it didn’t take long for colonists to take notice, by 1766 seventy three families had moved into the town. The town became incorporated 1778 and saw steady growth through the eighteenth century.
Foxborough became home to the Union Straw Works company that manufactured straw hats. Union Straw Works was opened by Ezra Carpenter Jr. and went on to become the biggest straw hat company in the world. By 1853, Union Straw Works had opened up a shop on Wall Street, while the town’s population had grown to 3,000.
Foxborough is now best known for being home to the New England Patriots and New England Revolution, both of whom play in Gillette Stadium, which can seat up to 68,000 people; it also hosts events outside of sports, such as concerts.
Foxborough is the home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution. Over the last decade, these two historic franchises have seen great success among their professional leagues; both teams play in Gillette Stadium which is surrounded by the newly built Patriot Place entertainment center. For those more interested in outdoors sport, the F. Gilbert Hills State Forest allows locals a place to enjoy biking, cross country skiing hiking and horseback riding
Joanna Levesque is best known by her stage name JoJo lived in Foxborough during her teen years. JoJo has become a singer and an actress and has come out with singles such as Leave (Get Out) and Too Little, Too Late. She has also had roles as an actress, starring in movies Aquamarine and RV.
Steve Grogan is a former New England Patriot who spent his entire sixteen year career with the franchise, during which time he lived in Foxborough. Prior to his retirement, he was the Patriots All-Time leader in passing yards and Passing Touchdowns. Since then Tom Brady and Drew Bledsoe have become the leaders of the categories. Grogan led the 1978 Patriot’s to the first home playoff game in team history.
