Based in New England since 1971, we’ve worked in the Sturbridge area for decades. We know the landscape and we have good relationships with local police and fire officials. Our team of employees (200 strong and growing) live in the communities we serve, this means our customers are our neighbors.
First settled by Europeans in 1729, the first settlers to the area came from Medfield. After being settled for only eleven years, the town became incorporated as Sturbridge. The name Sturbridge came from the town of the same name in England, Stourbridge. After settlers had originally come to the area, the town was primarily an agricultural community. As the years went on, mills in town became the main source of income for residents. Today, the town has a population around 10,000, and is primarily a residential town with little industry.

Also in town are many trial systems that traverse the rural wooded hills in town. Sometimes events that can affect a business security system are beyond anyone’s control. Recently, an office building of one of our long-time commercial customers in Sturbridge was hit by lightening. The intensity of the strike severely damaged the building’s security and fire alarm system, in addition to other electrical components within the structure. Our 24-hour Security Command Center immediately picked-up the problem and our crews swung into action. We worked with the client to replace and upgrade the building’s security and fire alarm system to minimize any disruption in the security plan for the premises.
