American Alarm and Communications is a full-service security integrator. We sell, install, service, and monitor Fire, Intrusion, Video, and Access Control security protection systems. We are based in Massachusetts and currently operate in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Our website can be found at https://americanalarm.com (“Website”).

American Alarm and Communications, Inc., has created this privacy policy in order to demonstrate our commitment to the privacy of our customers and Website visitors, as well as our own employees and third-party service providers.
Information Collection and Usage
Customers
American Alarm and Communications, Inc. may request certain information from our customers during sales, enrollment or customer service calls in order to provide our services and products as their vendor such as their name, company name, address, phone number and email address. Certain sensitive financial information, including credit or debit card numbers or bank account numbers, are collected only through a secure third-party vendor website and are maintained by that vendor for American Alarm and Communications, Inc. The Website also makes available a variety of options by which customers can seek information and guidance on the current and potential additional services, such as Blog Subscribe, Evaluation, Ask an Expert, Sign/Sticker requests, Alarm Response, Advance Signal and Contact Us. Customer information that may be collected via these options (with some fields optional) consists of customer name, physical address, email address, phone number, FAX number, Company name, security type needed, questions/comments, sticker/sign counts and instructions, form recipient routing, how they heard about American Alarm and Communications, application help checkbox, data team reach out checkbox, control panel status/brand, site type, services needed checkboxes and 1-5 contact additions (each with the same name, address and contact information as above).
American Alarm and Communications, Inc. uses the collected information held by it or its secure third-party vendor to set up accounts for customers and their respective companies. We may also use the information to contact customers to further discuss their interest in additional services and products. Customers and customer visitors to the Website regarding potential options for additional services may automatically be subscribed to some or all of our email newsletters as part of the set-up process. All customers and customer visitors can choose to opt out from receiving our newsletters. Customer and customer Website visitor information will not be shared or distributed by us except in cases where those third-party vendors are necessary to provide emergency services and products to our customers (e.g., police, ambulance and/or fire dispatch) or for third- party vendor maintenance and improvements to the Website.
All financial and billing information collected by American Alarm and Communications, Inc. or its third-party vendor is used to enroll and invoice customers for their usage of American Alarm and Communications, Inc. products and services.
As noted above, American Alarm and Communications, Inc. uses a third-party vendor for credit card processing. This intermediary is solely a link in the distribution chain, and is not permitted to store, retain, or use the information provided except for the sole purpose of credit card processing. As your vendor American Alarm and Communications, Inc. shall:
- Establish and maintain procedures to protect the security and confidentiality of such information in its possession.
- Protect against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of customer information in its possession.
- Protect against unauthorized access to (both physically and electronically maintained information) or use of such information that could result in substantial harm to customers in its possession.

Non-Customer Website Visitors
American Alarm and Communications, Inc. presently does not allow any customers or Website visitors to post information on the Website. Visitors (including customers) can view pages, blog and other posts on the Website, and search the Website via keyword. Visitors and customers may use the forms discussed in this Privacy Policy to seek information and guidance on the current and potential additional services offered by American Alarm and Communications, Inc. or its third-party service providers.
